A public hearing before the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Busti was held on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at 6:30 pm at the Town of Busti Administration Building, 125 Chautauqua Avenue, Lakewood, New York, to consider the following application:
Application of Gregory Lippert, 4472 West Fairmount Avenue, Lakewood, New York for an area variance for two sheds. Property is owned by him and known as Section 385.05, Block 3, Lot 1 of the official tax map of the Town of Busti. Property is in the Conservation/Residential District. Mr. Lippert was in attendance and explained to the Board the placement of the sheds. The Board reviewed the balancing test for a variance and determined that the benefit to the applicant outweighed any detriment to the neighborhood. Tim Young made a motion to grant the application of Gregory Lippert for a variance to place two sheds on said property. The shed on the east side will be 12’ x 16’ and is to be no closer than 10’ to the east side property boundary. The shed on the west side will be 12’ x 20’ and is to have an eavestrough that directs run-off towards his property. It is to be no closer than 5’ to the west side property boundary and is to be placed such that it runs straight with the property line. Seconded by Scott Schang. All aye. Carried.
Upon motion made by Tim Young, the meeting was adjourned at 6:55 pm.
