A public hearing before the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Busti was held on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at the Town of Busti Administration Building, 125 Chautauqua Avenue, Lakewood, New York, to consider the following application:
Application of Richard Pangrazi, 37 Brookpark Drive, Amherst, New York for an area variance to install a deck on property owned by him, located at 2410 Keller Road, Ashville, New York and known as Section 367.20, Block 2, Lot 55 of the official tax map of the Town of Busti. Property is in the Multi-Family Residential District. The Board reviewed the balancing test and determined that the benefit to the applicant outweighed any detriment to the neighborhood. Douglas Hooper made a motion to grant the application of Richard Pangrazi to construct a 4’ wide x 60’ long deck. It will border the breakwall along the canal, be at the same height as the breakwall, and will be constructed of pressure treated lumber. Variance is for the side yards, frontage and lot size. Seconded by Gary Starr. All aye. Carried.
