7:00 p.m.

PRESENT:

David Paterniti – Chairman

James Butler
Janet Briggs
Linda Anderson
Diane VanDewark
Robert Whitman

PRESENT: Brett Morgan, Verizon Wireless and Jared Lusk, Nixon Peabody

Chairman David Paterniti called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

Mr. Lusk presented the site plan and details of the application of Bell Atlantic Mobile Systems of Allentown, Inc. d/b/a Verizon Wireless to perform an Eligible Facilities Modification to an existing wireless telecommunications facility located at Hunt Road.

Property is owned by Jeffrey Christie and known as Section 384.00, Block 3, Lot 23.2 of the official tax map of the Town of Busti. Property is in the Light Manufacturing and Research and Development District (LMR). Mr. Lusk explained Verizon Wireless proposal is to co-locate and sustain the increase in data capacity demand within the surrounding area. Verizon Wireless proposes to install six (6) antennas, six (6) RRH units (at 170’ ACL), and other associated equipment on the existing tower located on said property. This equipment will be located beneath the existing antennas. The proposed modification is projected to be installed during the Spring/Summer of 2019. An alternative to this modification would be to build another tower at an alternate location.

Chautauqua County Division of Planning and Community Development’s response to the municipal zoning referral found the proposed action to have no significant county-wide or inter-community impact and that the proposal would be a matter of local concern.

James Butler motioned to grant the application of Bell Atlantic Mobile Systems of Allentown, Inc. d/b/a Verizon Wireless to perform an Eligible Facilities Modification to an existing wireless telecommunications facility located at the said parcel on Hunt Road according to Town of Busti Zoning Code §405-28 (H)(2); motion was duly moved by Janet Briggs.
All in favor, none opposed. Carried.

Respectfully given,
